Between 2010 and 2015, Jeff wrote a humorous autobiographical column for Pinkwire Magazine called Adventures Of A Drag Queen. Each article told the lighthearted story of an event from his twenty-five years in costume. A little elaborated and somewhat exaggerated, they opened a window into a camp, unhinged little world as viewed through drag-tinted spectacles.
One of its articles, Mrs Crabtree's Peach Tree, was published in the official magazine to accompany London LGBTQ Pride 2010. Jeff wrote a new story entitled The Ghosts Of Molly Moggs especially for the publication.
In November 2019, all of the stories were compiled and published as a book with a brand new explanatory prologue written by Jeff.
Jeff made a guest appearance on Xander Gibb's chat show, talking about his books Where's Yer Willy Now? and Adventures Of A Drag Queen.
"You may remember that I wrote for Pinkwire magazine and it was a monthly column called Adventures of a Drag Queen. It was kind of like a light hearted... almost like a diary, in a way, talking about things that had happened to me. I finished writing the column about five years ago. We decided to put all the stories together into a book because it would be nice for people who didn't get a chance first time round to read them now.'"
