The Moon Is A Hologram is a queer sci-fi romance paying homage to classic sci-fi films like Invasion of the Body Snatchers and The Day the Earth Stood Still, while maintaining director Selene Kapsaski’s punk sensibilities. It touches on subjects such as the rise of transphobia and the far right in the UK. Sasha
Sasha, played by Robyn Adams (The Estrogen Gospel), returns to her hometown to find it taken over by aliens. Along the way, she meets Jess and Mike, a nihilistic young trans couple, and the three form a polyamorous relationship amidst the chaos of a mysterious epidemic that grips the city. Jeff will be composing its soundtrack and also stars in a cameo as the British Prime Minister.
